BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I joined this challenge because I have committed to doing my part to get recycling, compost and trash going into the right "Stream"!

This Zero Waste challenge is an ongoing process... I kind of prefer to say "Near Zero Waste", or "Lower Waste lifestyle", as saying  "Zero Waste" can set me (And others I encourage) up for failure since it is very difficult to achieve that standard.
I will continue to push myself to "reduce my footprint", and inspire others to do the same!

The HCZWC is going well for me, I just completed the previous Henn Co Zero Waste Challenge, and took the Henn Co Master Recycling/Compost class, (MRC) so this is fresh in my mind!

How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?

For me, I just have to take a few extra seconds to think about need vs want, and that usually does the trick.
