Crystal Yakacki 5/20/2021 10:05 AMThis has been one of the most helpful things. A lot of the plastic I was tossing is actually recyclable. There is a place in Columbia Heights I can bring it to and they turn it into park benches and so on. -
Crystal Yakacki 5/20/2021 10:04 AMI am trying to reduce to two total loads of laundry per week for me and my daughter's clothes, sheets, towels. And try to only wash cloth napkins and kitchen towels and so on once a month - which means rinsing and hanging them to dry more instead of throwing them in the laundry shoot everytime something is dirty. -
Crystal Yakacki 5/20/2021 10:01 AMI got together tupperwares and glass jars and used them to shop bulk. I am going to start filling my Dr. Bronners and other toiletry items bulk as well - i wasn't even aware they were available! I also purchased two cloth produce bags. I usually only buy a couple items that need a bag (like string beans), everything else I just leave loose.
