  • Reflection Question
    Food Plant a Garden
Besides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?

    Emily Barker 5/31/2020 1:17 AM
Teaching my child how to garden. Building community. Decreasing reliance on the corporate agricultural system.

Today was my son's birthday. I used water damaged folders to cut out these letters for a birthday "banner" on our front porch.

That looks terrific. I wish I was creative like this.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Make Use of Leftovers
How have you modified what you do with leftovers to make sure nothing goes to waste?

    Emily Barker 5/20/2020 7:13 AM
Flexibility! Leftovers for breakfast! For health reasons I can’t eat many “regular” breakfast foods, so have learned to be flexible. It is amazing how good breakfast can be!

Joined the new Buy Nothing group in my city to have a hyper-local, non-monetary based way to give and receive! Reducing wasted resources for production of physical goods and transportation.

I read about this but wasn't aware we had one in MPLS. Is this a Facebook group? I'd love to join
